CP-10000

The COBALT CP-10000 is a fully featured 10,000W / 10kW FM transmitter designed for continuous 24/7 broadcast operation. Featuring a modular architecture with up to five hot-pluggable 2.2kW RF power modules and an optional second exciter, the CP-10000 delivers high reliability, simplified maintenance, and dependable on-air performance.

The integrated COBALT C-30 exciter uses Direct-to-Channel Digital Synthesized (DDS) modulation to provide mono and stereo broadcasting across the full 87.5–108MHz FM band. A built-in 4-band audio processor with ITU-R BS412.9 limiter, dynamic UECP-compliant RDS encoder, Digital MPX (AES192), audio failover, silence detection, USB backup audio player, and Shoutcast/Icecast stream support provide a complete transmission solution.

Designed for modern broadcast networks, the CP-10000 includes analogue and AES/EBU audio inputs, Ethernet, USB, GPIO, GPS synchronisation for Single Frequency Network (SFN) operation, HTTPS remote control, SNMP (v1/v2c/v3), and web-based audio monitoring and control. Advanced automation, scheduling, and configuration tools allow operators to monitor and manage the transmitter from virtually anywhere.

With up to 70% overall efficiency, automatic power control, comprehensive protection against high VSWR, overdrive, overcurrent and overheating, and a hot-swap cooling system, the CP-10000 is engineered for reliable, efficient operation. The transmitter is available with single-phase or three-phase AC power options and is fitted with a 1+5/8" EIA RF output, making it suitable for a wide range of FM broadcast installations.
